Information centre
As a member of the EU Sweden must have an information centre. The information centre is responsible for ensuring that a person affected by a claim can find out where the vehicle that caused the claim is insured for third party liability (or the equivalent of motor third party liability insurance).
In Sweden it is Swedish Motor Insurers (TFF) that is the information centre. This means for example that we help information centres in other countries to find out where Swedish vehicles have their motor third party liability insurance. We also help to find out where foreign vehicles are insured.
