Partnering for road safety in schools

TFF is proud to be a partner in the project “Road safety at school". Along with NTF we support pre-schools and schools in teaching children and young people how to be safe in traffic.

What do different traffic signs mean? Why is it important to wear a helmet? How do you drive electric scooters, mopeds, moped cars and A-tractors legally? When children and young people are taught road safety, they develop habits that build safety and reduce the risk of accidents.

Material to facilitate teaching

To make it easier for pre-schools and schools to integrate traffic safety into lessons there is a website trafikeniskolan.se. Among the things it offers are:

  • Lesson suggestions adapted to different grades.
  • Films to use in lessons.
  • An extensive knowledge bank.

All the material is free of charge.

A helmet makes a difference - see for yourself

Road safety at school has two films showing how life can change in a few seconds - and how a helmet can make the difference between life and death.

About Road safety at school

Road safety at school is a partnership between TFF and NTF, where TFF provides financing on behalf of the insurance industry.

NTF (the National Society for Road Safety) is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to preventing death and serious injury on the roads.
