Here you can read about how we process your personal data if you are a visitor to Swedish Motor Insurers (TFF) or have been invited by us to use digital services.
Name details in our visitor computer
If you visit TFF you may be asked for security reasons to enter your first and last name in our visitor computer (Pronestor Visitor). This is because, in case of evacuation of our premises or other incidents, we need to know who is on the premises.
TFF is responsible for ensuring that the processing of your name in our visitor computer is correct. The legal basis for our processing is balance of interests. We believe that our security interest outweighs the visitors’ interest in not giving out their name.
We retain your name for 14 days and the data is stored during that time on the premises of our subsidiary Svensk Försäkring Administrations AB (SFAB). Only authorised staff at SFAB can access the data and the data will not be disclosed to a third party. Your name will not be used for automated decisions.
Video recordings at our reception
For security reasons, visitors to TFF may be recorded by security cameras in our reception. The video footage does not include sound recording.
The camera surveillance is to create a safe and secure environment both for you as a visitor and for us. We save the video footage for 30 days. In case of suspected crime, video footage may be saved for a longer period of time. In that case, the video footage will be saved until no longer needed as evidence.
TFF is the personal data controller for these data and processes them on the legal basis of balance of interests. We believe that our interest in maintaining security and safety outweighs our visitors’ interest in not being subject to our camera surveillance. We do not need to apply for permission from the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection for this camera surveillance because it is based on a balance of interests.
Only a limited number of SFAB employees have access to the video footage. If there is suspicion of crime the video footage may also be submitted to the security company we have engaged and criminal investigation authorities. SFAB, which is our Personal Data Processor, our security company and public authorities are obliged, in the same way as we are, to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
We and SFAB process personal data in Sweden. No personal data is transferred to a third country.
Personal data are not used for automated decisions.
If you have been invited by TFF to use digital services within Office 365 you can read about how we process your personal data here (in Swedish).
