My vehicle was damaged

Trafikförsäkringsföreningen (TFF) will compensate you if your vehicle was damaged by an unknown vehicle legally required to have MTPL-insurance.

TFF deals with your damage claim under the same rules as if the vehicle had been insured. We pay compensation if the driver of the uninsured vehicle was liable for the accident and damaged your vehicle.

In certain cases, TFF does not pay full compensation.

Ideally, you and the other party should fill in and sign the front page of the accident statement form immediately at the scene of the accident.
Each party then fills in the back of the accident statement form.
Be sure to always note the names and addresses of any witnesses.

You should report the damage to your insurance company.
