Handling information on the health of individuals

Both TFF and its member companies handle a great deal of information on the health of individuals. Such information is, naturally, very sensitive from the point of view of privacy. TFF and the Swedish Insurance Federation have therefore produced a recommendation to the member companies concerning how such information should be handled.

 

A reference group comprising representatives of the member companies contributed to the work of producing the recommendation. The TFF Board decided on 23 September 2009 to adopt the  recommendation and the Swedish Insurance Federation Board adopted the recommendation at its meeting on 7 October 2009.
